Adele born may 5th 1988 is an English singer-songwriter. In 2008 she won the BRIT Awards and was predicted by the BBC pole of music to be the breakthrough act of 2008. During the 2009 Grammy Awards she won both Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. In 2011 Adele released her second album, 21, which has had mutiple singles grab the number one spot Billboard Hot 100.
